A Short History of Partners Pots
|
|
|
|
Steve the Potter established Partners Pots in March 1982 , producing a range of handmade , quality terracotta
pots for mainly garden use . Over the years , whilst maintaining the gardenware range , production began
to move into 'Stoneware' pottery . Being fired at a higher temperature , Stoneware is more durable for
use in the kitchen and as giftware .

|
During the late Eighties and early Nineties demand grew for pots with individual place names on them
, primarily mugs , but also including Jugs , Mustard pots , Tea jars , Sugarbowls , Goblets etc. ( you
name it , Steve could make it ) . The most popular lines inevitably turned out to be mugs with customised
names , including place's , businesses , event's , anniversaries , etc. in fact any name or any occasion
.

|
|
With the coming Queens Jubilee , thought turned towards producing the jubilee Mug ; a simple idea
of making the handmade mugs with the jubilee written on one side and the name of a Town , City , Club
, Organisation , Parish Council or whatever on the other .

All of Partners Pots are handmade to order and whilst every effort is made to make them all the same
, this is an impossible task , so adding to the uniqueness of each and every pot . Move away from transfer
coated white earthenware and treat your customers , clients , school children , employees to something
created by someone in the world's second oldest profession .
